Data Scientist Sr Advisor

Deliver insights to help our clients turn data into action as a Data Scientist Sr Advisor at GDIT. Your work will provide transformative solutions to our clients' big-data obstacles and help advance the mission. Here, you can make a meaningful impact on our clients' mission and on your career.

HOW A DATA SCIENTIST SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

? Perform scientific work associated with the analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets; develop data-driven solutions to difficult business challenges

? Design and develop scalable intelligent document processing pipelines

? Design and develop scalable compliance and risk frameworks

? Lead the implementation and configuration of Azure cloud services, adhering to best practices and security standards

? Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like BICEP to streamline cloud deployments

? Establish data interfaces and ingestion processing frameworks with source data systems

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

? Education: Bachelors of Science, Masters of Science is a plus

? Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience

? Required Technical Skills:

Familiarity with Azure AI Search, Vectorization, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, Dataverse

? Security Clearance Level: Active secret or higher

? Preferred Skills: Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), retrieval augmented generation (RAG), natural language processing (NLP), vector embeddings and optimization techniques are a plus

? Location: Rosslyn, VA / Sterling, VA

? US Citizenship Required

The likely salary range for this position is $153,000 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
