Warehouse Worker

Overview

As a Warehouse Worker, you will be an integral part of our operations, working in a warehouse located in Bensenville. Your main responsibility will be to manage and transport large consumer goods and materials, ensuring they are ready for repair and shipment to customers. You will be operating a forklift to move large materials throughout the warehouse. The typical shift will be 5am until finish. Responsibilities

Operate a 15,000+ lb diesel forklift to move large materials throughout the warehouse.

Pull large items for repair and prepare them for shipment to customers.

Ensure the safe and efficient handling of goods within the warehouse.

Essential Skills

1-3 years of experience in a warehouse setting.

Proficiency in operating large, diesel sit-down forklifts, specifically 15,000+ lb forklifts.

Familiarity with the Hyster brand forklifts.

Experience handling large materials, ideally from ship docks or companies dealing with large rolls of steel, plastic, or glass.

Experience in environments with large material handling.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Work Environment

The work environment is a large warehouse facility where you will primarily be working alongside a supervisor. The setting requires attention to safety and efficient use of space, with a focus on handling large materials. Dress code is practical for warehouse work.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
