The CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Machinist will be responsible for setting up, supervising, and operating CNC lathes (machine tools that shape and form materials) for mechanical manufacturing. This position ensures the quality of the parts produced and is responsible for maintaining the equipment in optimal working conditions. The CNC Machinist will collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure the manufacturing processes meet high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include: Setting up and operating CNC lathes to manufacture parts according to technical specifications; Reviewing blueprints, work orders, and other specifications to determine part requirements; Programming CNC machines for accurate part production, ensuring tolerances and quality standards are met; Inspecting finished parts for defects using precision measuring instruments, such as calipers and micrometers; Ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and performing routine checks and repairs as needed; Troubleshooting and resolving any machine or production issues during the manufacturing process; Keeping accurate records of work performed, parts produced, and machine maintenance; Collaborating with other machinists, engineers, and production staff to improve manufacturing processes and efficiency; Adhering to all safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in operating and programming CNC lathes and other CNC machines; Strong understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes and materials; Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills; Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints; Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts; Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and management; Ability to maintain accurate production and maintenance records.

Requires a minimum of 60 months (5 years) of experience working as a Machinist with significant experience in CNC programming in a mechanical manufacturing environment.

Salary: \$62,650 annually.
