Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using AWS, SQL, Spring Boot, Angular JS, Java, Javascript, and mySQL.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. - Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. - Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment processes.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.

Ensure security and data protection measures are in place for all applications. - Document software solutions and processes for future reference.

Qualifications:

Highly skilled Software Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS, SQL, Spring Boot, Angular JS, Java, Javascript, and mySQL.

Experience in the Automotive Industry is a plus.

This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel required.

Job Location: Dearborn MI

The annual salary for this position is between $65 - 110k depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
