Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Rotomold Operator to join our team. This role involves working with rotational molding to create thick-walled hollow plastic products, which serve as housings for our cleaning machines. The position operates primarily on the 2nd shift from 3pm-1am, Monday through Thursday, with occasional voluntary shifts on Fridays.

Responsibilities

Handle plastic powder resin and operate rotational molding equipment.

Manage and oversee the bi-axial rotation, heating, and cooling processes to ensure product quality.

Utilize hoists/cranes to assist in pulling molds (arms).

Process multiple molds simultaneously, managing the timing of each stage based on specific mold procedures.

Maintain a focus on detail and precision during the production process.

Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in a machine operating or low-level mechanical role.

Must own or be willing to purchase steel toe shoes before the first day of work.

Work Environment

Our facility is dedicated to designing and building cleaning equipment for industrial and commercial markets. The rotomold assembly area is clean and organized, though it can get very hot, especially during the summer. The role involves significant manual labor, including bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holland, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.80 - $21.80/hr.
