The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing strategic
relationships to increase sales and revenue with the Aerospace, Defense,
and Military Markets. The ideal candidate will be a strong relationship
builder, a forward thinker, and have the ability to identify new sales

What You Will Do Increase groups market share to increase revenue,
transactions and sales, to meet department goals using industry current
best practice and innovative solution Achieves plan bookings and gross
margin goals. Develop and implement plans to take advantage of all sales
opportunities for assigned customers or territory Responsible for
qualifying, developing and providing detailed specifications that meet
or exceed customers\' requirements, ensuring the GFS concepts meet the
specifications for the application and final contract Take ownership of
the entire sales cycle from initial sales development calls,
presentations & demonstrations, sales negotiation and closing business
Utilize the departments and companies support groups, vast knowledge and
experience of existing customers to build a solid relationship for
future sales and referrals Post sales involvement is necessary to ensure
long-term customer loyalty, and successful engagement for future
referrals What You Have to Offer Bachelor\'s degree in engineering with
5-10 years capital goods sales Consultative/transitional sale experience
Excellent oral/written communication skills and customer service skill
is required Demonstrated ability to develop a business strategy that
includes management of direct customers to a market Master aspects of
design, engineering and cost estimating Demonstrated effective strategy
development that resulted in achieving business objectives Ability to
execute sales plans Knowledge of market; customer, competition, trends,
etc. Ability to create business plans to maximize potential Work
cohesively with all areas of the business Understanding of market
drivers and KPI\'s of the industry Ability to consult with customer and
