Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
General oversight of the department's budgets and financial forecasting of the department's risk/liabilities and revenues/profits.
Supervision of Advancement, Upper Payment Limit (UPL) program, Revenue Cycles, and finance professionals.
Management of funding distribution life cycle including certifications.
Oversight of contract and invoice tracking processes for the department as well as providing support to divisions.
Management of the Department's make-whole process with hospital partners across the state of Colorado.
Management of departmental revenue cycle initiatives including provider champion meetings and oversight of new provider billing classes
Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in business administration, business, finance, accounting, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
Four (4) years of experience in finance, accounting, and financial analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
A master's degree in business administration, business, finance, accounting, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
Revenue Cycle experience.
Experience CUData, PowerBi, or A2E.
Research administration experience.
Operations experience including the build of reporting systems and project management/ticketing systems.
Financial experience in healthcare.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Understanding of behavioral health billing and service provision.

We are seeking a highly organized, independent Finance & Accounting Program Manager to support a core business line of the Department of Psychiatry (DOP).The Finance & Accounting Program Manager is responsible for budgeting and financial data analysis in collaboration with the Director of Finance and Administration (DFA) and Associate Director of Finance and Administration (ADFA). This position may manage up to four members of the core finance team. The Finance Program Manager and their team will assist the Department Administrators (DFA/ ADFA) as needed with oversight of the department's budgets and financial forecasting and will work closely with the Department Administrators to review expenditures and provide regular updates and reporting to department leadership related to division financial health as well as overall departmental financial status. The Finance Program Manager and their team will be available to collaborate with the five division administrators in support of budgeting, financial analysis, special projects, accounting, and auditing. The Finance Program Manager is responsible for working with CU MEDICINE, UCHealth, CHCO, and other funding agencies for the creation, management, and amendments of external contracts as directed by and in collaboration with the Department Administrators and Division Administrators.
this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.
