Some of what you'll be doing:
As an Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Client Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a secure, cohesive, systematic, and scalable end-user computer environment, while maintaining all tools, software, and systems. You will act as a subject matter expert to projects, ensure standards, and create documentation.
You will package all end-user computer software applications and deploy, track, and manage end-user computers, Intune and other 3rd party software tools such as Patch My PC.
You will review, prepare, and execute software distribution. You will also design and implement routine software maintenance tasks that include security patching, version updates, and custom configuration settings.
You will perform Tier 3 support for end-user computing equipment, including root cause analysis, solution development, and deployment strategy.
You will implement change for individual or Port-wide solutions. You will propose best practices and create documentation for mitigating future risk of problem recurrence.
You will build, test, and maintain standard end-user computing device images. You will also work with other ICT technical teams to incorporate image update requests while maintaining a reliable and secure image.
You will research, create, and manage Intune policies settings to ensure policy compliance.
You will participate in technology projects as end-user computing subject matter expert. You will provide input on best practice recommendations and requirements that consider emerging technologies.
You will document standards and processes for technical peer group and potentially for end-user consumption.
Who you are:
Experienced - You have two (2) years of experience in Information Technology.
Desired - We hope you have a bachelor's degree in information technology , computer science, or business administration.

Problem-Solver - You possess problem solving skills, including research of identified issues, exploration of other related root causes, solution development, and testing. You can anticipate and take action to meet customers current and future needs.
Multi-Tasker - You produce, track, and manage multiple tasks and/or deliverables with competing priorities and sometimes overlapping deadlines.
What else you need to know:
Work Schedule - Your normal work schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week). Slightly more flexible start and end times are available in this role. You may be required to work during emergencies.
Work Environment - This work will take place in a hybrid/in-office setting at Management's discretion.
Washington State Residency Requirement - Employees must establish a residence in Washington state within 30 days of their first day of employment and must maintain a residence in Washington State during their employment with the Port of Seattle. If a position is eligible to telework, work performed while teleworking must be performed in Washington State.
Security Requirements - As the successful candidate, you must pass a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background check as well as a criminal history background check with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Your employment will be contingent upon obtaining a Port of Seattle ID badge upon clearance.
Security Requirements - In this role, you will be required to access Port of Seattle Police Department equipment, office locations, systems and/or vehicles. In compliance with Federal and State laws as the successful candidate, you will be required to pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) criminal history background check.
