Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
As a Warehouse Worker, you will operate a sit-down forklift and be responsible for order selecting food products for food pantries and charitable organizations. You will hand-build pallets, lift up to 50 lbs, stage orders at dock doors for shipment, and utilize an RF scanner at barcode locations within a Warehouse Management System (WMS). This role requires working in freezer, cooler, and dry environments.
Responsibilities
Perform basic warehouse duties utilizing RF scanners, including order selecting and shipping, replenishment (WAP), receiving, and put-away.
General cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance in the Distribution Center.
Maintain all standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or assigned designee.
Essential Skills
High School Diploma and at least two years of work experience, or a combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Valid driver's license.
Work experience in warehouse operations and inventory control.
Familiarity with computerized Warehouse Management Systems.
Experience operating a sit-down forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse-related equipment. Must be able to obtain Forklift certification.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
Strong attendance and organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and work a flexible schedule when necessary.
Ability to interact effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and personalities.
Ability to handle crises calmly, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Ability to work in various environments in the warehouse, including general storage, coolers, and freezers.
Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Flexible schedule to accommodate agency needs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
3 - 5 years of work experience in a distribution or warehouse environment.
Strong customer service expertise.
Food safety experience.
Knowledge of Foodbank programs and the mission of Foodbanks.
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $39520.00/yr.
