Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Job Description

The Project Manager will oversee the comprehensive management of project contracts, labor, subcontracts, and materials. This role involves project scheduling, equipment utilization, material handling, project estimating, and productivity analysis. The Project Manager will develop and maintain customer relationships, direct and maintain an efficient labor force, and administer safety programs to minimize job site accidents. This position requires mobility across various markets in the Mid-West as projects start and finish.

Responsibilities

Oversee comprehensive management of project contracts, labor, subcontracts, and materials.

Schedule projects and manage equipment utilization.

Handle materials and estimate project costs.

Analyze productivity and ensure efficient labor force management.

Develop and maintain customer relationships.

Administer safety programs to minimize job site accidents.

Travel to various markets in the Mid-West as projects start and finish.

Essential Skills

Experience with estimating software.

Proficiency in Excel or Primavera for project management.

2+ years of project management experience.

Experience with $100k to $10m commercial construction projects.

Flexibility and conflict resolution skills.

Willingness to travel within Central IL.

Valid driver's license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Degree preferred but not required.

Work Environment

This role requires an average of 3 days of weekly travel. You will oversee 2-10 laborers and contractors daily. Training will be provided by the VP, who will spend 2-3 days getting you up to speed.. The position offers 11 paid holidays and 1 week PTO. The company is minority and veteran-owned.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $43.27/hr.
