We're on the hunt for a sharp, detail-obsessed Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic team in Irvine, California. This contract-to-hire role offers a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door of the innovative and fast-paced medical device industry.

As a key player in our finance team, you'll take ownership of essential functions like accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and administrative support-all while ensuring precision and efficiency in every task. You'll work closely with and learn from our experienced Accounting Manager, gaining hands-on experience and making a direct impact on the department's success.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable, including setting up weekly payables, matching invoices to receivers, and handling three-way matching.

Perform bank reconciliations by verifying deposits, aligning payments with statements, and tracking cleared and outstanding checks.

Manage administrative tasks such as sorting daily mail, organizing accounting files, and entering data into financial systems.

Must utilize Microsoft Office Suite to maintain accurate records and streamline accounting processes.

Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to ensure all financial operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

Proficiency in accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and three-way matching.

Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Familiarity with bank reconciliations, including tracking deposits and outstanding checks.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to handle administrative tasks such as filing, mail sorting, and data input.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
