Description

We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional administrative support while ensuring a welcoming environment for patients and visitors. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced medical setting.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist patients and visitors upon arrival, ensuring a positive and attentive experience.

Answer 100+ incoming phone calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals.

Schedule patient appointments efficiently while maintaining accurate records in the scheduling system.

Manage patient files and documentation, ensuring all records are organized and up-to-date.

Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication and patient care.

Perform general office duties, including filing, scanning, and data entry as required.

Assist in resolving patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and courteous manner.

Requirements

Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role in a healthcare setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a busy environment.

Familiarity with patient scheduling and record-keeping processes.

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of patient information.

Proficient in answering and handling inbound calls professionally.

Basic knowledge of filing systems and office organization.
