We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our Cybersecurity Engineering function within the Automation & AI Team. In this role, you will leverage data science, machine learning, and statistical methods to solve complex security challenges, reduce operational burden, and enable proactive defense across the enterprise.
You will work closely with cybersecurity domain owners (IAM, Endpoint, AppSec, Cloud, etc.), engineers, and data professionals to create AI-powered automation, predictive analytics, and risk-based decision frameworks. Your work will help transform cybersecurity operations and protect the enterprise at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Develop models and algorithms to detect anomalies, predict risks, and drive automated security decision-making.
Analyze large-scale, high-velocity security telemetry, threat intelligence, and incident data.
Design experiments and simulations to evaluate control effectiveness, risk posture, and system behavior.
Collaborate with engineers to integrate models into automation pipelines and tools like ServiceNow, Sentinel, and Defender XDR.
Work with Databricks, ADX, and other data platforms to build reusable analytics assets.
Communicate insights through dashboards, reports, and visual storytelling aligned with CIO and CISO priorities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in data science, machine learning, or statistical modeling.
Proficiency in Python and data science libraries (pandas, scikit-learn, numpy, matplotlib, etc.).
Experience with SQL, Spark, or distributed data environments (e.g., Databricks, ADX).
Strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning, anomaly detection, and feature engineering.
Ability to explain complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in cybersecurity, threat detection, incident response, or risk modeling.
Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, CVE/CVSS, and other cyber threat frameworks.
Familiarity with ServiceNow, Sentinel, Defender XDR, Wiz, or Splunk.
Experience with MLOps, model lifecycle management, or automation frameworks.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
