Job Title: Electrical Test EngineerJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will perform material testing for EV components, handle tool calibration, and evaluate department processes. You will also be responsible for customer test requests, EV efficiency testing, and operating environmental chamber testing equipment. This position involves reviewing EV model certifications, maintaining records, and conducting product testing and inspections. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.

Responsibilities

Perform material testing for EV components and handle tool calibration.

Evaluate department processes and recommend process and product improvements.

Handle customer test requests and perform EV efficiency testing.

Operate EV efficiency and environmental chamber testing equipment.

Review EV model certifications and maintain records.

Conduct product testing and inspections, including first article and final inspections.

Work with cross-functional teams to promote continuous improvement and quality excellence.

Continuously improve testing and evaluation processes to ensure efficiency and alignment with industry best practices.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in test procedures, metrology, and automotive electronics.

Strong background in electrical engineering, including electrical testing and hardware knowledge.

BS Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Advanced metrology skills, including efficient operation and knowledge of dynamometer and environmental chamber operations.

In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, including EV, chassis, and electronics.

Fluency in technical English, both written and verbal.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of industry best practices for testing and evaluation.

Experience in a cross-functional team environment.

This role is based in a cutting-edge EV mass-production plant that utilizes innovative production technology. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
