The opportunity
Based in North America reporting to the Sr. Director, Account Management for AndaMEDs, this position will execute upon the growth strategy to support our commercial initiatives for AndaMeds Sales using the breadth of AndaMEDs catalog of products. An executive in this position must focus on coaching the Key Account Management(KAM) team to deliver performance requirements of the business. This will be inclusive of networking with the KAM's assigned accounts to establish, maintain and grow strong relationships. Additionally, this role will support the established quarterly business reviews, monthly conference calls, and other requirements from management to support AndaMEDs revenue requirements. Lastly, and certainly not least, the Dir, Account Management will assist in the development, execution and coaching of the strategic planning process to meet/exceed annual operating plan revenue targets.
How you'll spend your day

Lead strategic initiatives that support AOP revenue while increasing AndaMeds presence in the institutional and organized provider channels
Establish and or strengthen relationships with designated key AndaMEDs account leadership through collaboration with the assigned Key Account Manager.
Provide the necessary coaching support for each direct report so that they have the appropriate tools, support for successful Account Management.
Approve assigned account business plans so that the Account Manager has a clear path to support AndaMEDs business objectives with each assigned account.
Collaborate with internal cross functional groups so that there is alignment with AdnaMEDs strategies with assigned accounts. Be the POC to assist the KAMs with needed leadership support, when appropriate to support best business decision making for all parties.
Coordinate and facilitate timely coaching sessions with Key Account Management team so that learning and Development, Compliance, Administrative and other key elements of the KAM roles meet business standards.
Align with Sr. Dir, Account Management to ensure strategic direction is executed upon and adjusted to support revenue targets.
Attend industry trade shows, industry conferences and customer meetings along with the Key Account Managers as needed to support messaging that highlight Anda's capabilities.
Work directly with the leadership of Key Accounts that have been identified by the KAM assigned.
Represent AndMEDs leadership within accounts, industry meetings, and trade shows
Expand organizational knowledge and experience by regular engagement with key stakeholders to understand business processes, policies, strategies and evolving business trends.
Work directly with the senior executives of large IDNs, Medical Group practices, and industry organizations
Anda cross functional teams:
o Contracts, Pricing, Procurement, Credit, Legal, Retail AndaMEDs inside Sales
Anda executive leadership team:
o CFO, Vice President Supply Chain, Vice President of Warehouse & Compliance,
Sr. Director of Marketing, Sr. Director of National Accounts
Your experience and qualifications
Education/Certification/Experience:
HS Diploma Required, Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Proven work experience as an effective Account Manager preferred
5+ years experience in working within the pharmaceutical/distributor sector
Previous People Manager with 3+ years experience
Proven track record successfully coaching multifaceted teams a plus
Telephonic sales leadership a plus
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Hands on experience with Microsoft Office to include ability to work with Excel and PowerPoint
Highly motivated with a drive to succeed and a passion for sales.
In-depth understanding of the sales administration process
Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Numerical abilities and problem-solving attitude
Relevant industry experience and knowledge of the company's market
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Approximately 35% domestic travel throughout the US and Canada.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasional:
Sitting for extended periods of time at work station or mobile equipment.
Visual Acuity:
Perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed on site visits (i.e. safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.).
Compensation Data
The annual starting salary for this position is between $170,000 - $190,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
