Job Title: Welder

Job Description

In this role, you will perform MIG welding with provided training for entry-level candidates. You will assist in running fabrication equipment when needed. The job involves welding heavier products, requiring a significant amount of lifting.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding.

Assist in running fabrication equipment as needed.

Lift and handle heavier welding products.

Essential Skills

At least 1 year of recent MIG welding experience or a 2-year degree.

High school diploma or GED.

Own welding equipment.

Ability to pass a weld test.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with fabrication, fixture welding, layout welding, and fitting.

Work Environment

1st shift hours are flexible, with the facility opening at 4:30 am. Typical work hours are from 6 am to 3 pm, working 9-hour days, sometimes up to 10 hours if demand is high. The facility is older but very clean and well-lit. The office facade was completely renovated in 2022 with contributions from all employees in woodworking and ironworking.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
