The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Windows Server Administrator, Journeyman, to provide comprehensive support and administration for the Windows Server environments within USSTRATCOM. This role involves managing server infrastructure, ensuring system availability and supporting mission-critical applications.

The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.

Responsibilities:

Server Administrator (WIN), Journeyman:

Participates in managing and maintaining Windows-based server environments to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of the IT infrastructure

Participates in implementing system updates, monitors server health, and provides technical support

Installs, configures, and maintains Windows Server operating systems, including features (e.g., Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS)

Performs regular updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure server stability and security

Enforces server security measures, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and access controls

Mitigates risks by applying security patches and monitoring for vulnerabilities

Possesses and applies expertise on multiple, complex work assignments

Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks

Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems

Qualifications:

Required:

Top Secret security clearance with Eligibility

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred

3 years of experience in Windows Server administration in a professional environment

Required 8140 Cert within 6 months of start date: 451 - Basic; A+ or CND or Network+; OR Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR Training

AND

Additional Cert: Azure Certified professional

Proficient in Windows Server operating systems (2016, 2019, or later)

Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS

Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V or VMware)

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$65,000 - $136,500
