Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Lombard, Illinois. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with clients, managing data entry tasks, and supporting sales operations in the printing and publishing industry. You will play a pivotal role in assisting our sales team and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:

Conduct outbound calls to follow up with previous clients and ensure continued engagement.

Communicate professionally with church administrators and business representatives to address their specific needs.

Perform accurate data entry tasks using software programs, including calendars tailored for Catholic churches.

Support the main sales representative by managing assigned workloads and ensuring seamless operations.

Utilize Microsoft Excel for tracking and organizing sales data effectively.

Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships.

Collaborate with team members to improve workflow and client satisfaction.

Handle light computer work and maintain organized records for sales activities.

The salary range for this position is $18 to $20. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Requirements - Proven experience in sales support or a related role.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for client interactions requiring attention to detail.

Proficiency in data entry with attention to accuracy and detail.

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other basic computer programs.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Commitment to completing the contract assignment with reliability.

Prior experience in a business sales environment is preferred.
