Civil Construction Inspector

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Construction Inspector to join our team fully on-site in Pensacola, FL. The Construction Inspector will be responsible for overseeing and inspecting a diverse range of construction projects, including roadway, utility, site development, and other related ventures.

Review and interpret plans and specifications with contractors, ensuring the quality and adherence to design specifications throughout the construction process.

Inspect stormwater drainage, sewer installations, grades, materials, and surfacing applications for compliance with established requirements.

Monitor and assess the weight, quantity, and quality of various materials

Coordinate project schedules and payment estimates with contractors, and gather essential data for official reports and engineering estimates.

Skills and Requirements

Experience in public project engineering such as street or sewer construction

Knowledge of the methods, materials, practices, and techniques used in construction

Ability to read and interpret routine engineering designs and specifications

Skilled in the application of proper inspection and investigation methods and techniques

Ability to pass a drug and background check null
