Description

Robert Half Management Resources is looking for an interim Controller will be responsible for managing the company's financial activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and implementing effective financial controls. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to senior management.

Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Analyze and manage cash flow to ensure the company's financial stability.

Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support as needed.

Utilize NetSuite for financial management and reporting, ensuring accurate and efficient use of the software.

Manage and report on WIP, ensuring accurate tracking and accounting of ongoing projects.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

CPA or CMA certification preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or roofing industry.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Understanding of Work-In-Progress (WIP) accounting.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
