Opportunities for Sawmill Production Workers at Boundary Co. dba Moose
River Lumber Company, located at Moose River, Maine. Duties include to
arrive to work on-time for scheduled shifts, ready to work in a safe and
cooperative manner; participate in daily meetings and report any safety
or production concerns to Supervisor or Manager; safely operate sawmill
equipment/machinery; efficiently and effectively work to keep production
lines moving at maximum safe speed; continually maintain a work are that
is free of debris and hazards; continually observe machinery and
equipment operations and report any malfunctions; always observe safety
protocols; and other duties as assigned. Will become familiar with the
safe operation of the equipment and machinery associated with the mill;
will make use of all safety guards and implements that are associated
with equipment, machinery and the facility; and will use property
Lockout/Tag procedures 100% of the time to avoid injuries or harm to
equipment. Requires a High School Diploma or GET, and physically able to
lift up to 50 pounds, twist, reach and bend, and ability to stand for
long periods of time.
