Summary You will serve as a SUPV IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) in the COMMAND AND CONTROL (C2) of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA. Responsibilities You supervise a highly complex team of scientists, engineers, IT specialists, and project managers. You will set employee performance expectations and evaluating employee contributions. You will execute technical tasks to include, project management of developmental testing, business intelligence, data analytics, software integration, testing, networking, cybersecurity, information assurance policies and configuration management. You will manage IT systems processes and budget. You will work with designated systems engineers in identifying, committing to, and managing initial and derived project requirements. You will participate in strategic planning efforts with impact across the division/department/Center. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NM-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing administrative, technical and/or project management oversight; Experience in applying software development, engineering, and architecture concepts to business systems platforms and enterprise architecture. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. Education Additional Information This position is in the Science & Technology Reinvention Laboratory (STRL) Human Resource Management System pay band for Department of Defense laboratories. The pay schedule for all Supervisor Positions will be NM-2/3/4/5/6. This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 451 System Administrator- Systems Administration, proficiency level Advanced the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies. This position is eligible for ad-hoc/situational telework at the discretion of management. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
