ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive inbound calls and place outbound calls to customers in order to provide information about products and services, to take orders, or troubleshoot and resolve challenges.
Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, issues, and comments, as well as actions taken.
Respond to customers' service or billing questions; check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' questions.
Ability to solve problems, troubleshoot and prioritize tasks for urgency throughout the day.
Be flexible and work well in an everchanging and fast paced environment.
Phone and email etiquette and standards of excellence in all forms of communication.
Coordinate same-day deliveries and pickups for customers. Process pickup requests from customers and Sales team. Respond to delivery/routing questions from customers.
Respond to product inquiries from customers.
Confirm invoices in system, put in numerical order and file invoices.
Proactively identify opportunities for improvements in products, shipping, service, or billing methods and procedures to help to continue to grow our business.

Onsite : The associate in this role is expected to perform assigned responsibilities inside a US Foods office-based environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Three years' experience in customer service required
Excellent verbal communication skills and problem resolution ability required.
Familiar with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or equivalent required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in working in food manufacturing or distribution.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $15.00-$25.00/hour.
