Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant to become a key part of our team based in Temecula, California. As a Staff Accountant, your role will primarily revolve around maintaining the general ledger and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role is situated within a CA Firm and offers an exciting opportunity for career growth and development.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger

Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and statements

Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation

Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data

Conducting internal audits and assisting in external audits

Analyzing financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures

Providing strategic guidance around financial analysis and profitability

Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes

Providing support to the financial department and performing related tasks as needed. Requirements - Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

Proven experience in a similar role within a CA Firm is required.

Comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of the General Ledger.

Solid proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to prepare financial reports and statements.

Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.

Excellent numerical skills and ability to handle large amounts of data.

Proficient in maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.

Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Must be a team player with the ability to collaborate with other departments.

High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
