Job Description

Reviews and interprets trust agreements, wills and other estate planning documents where the bank is acting as trustee, executor, administrator, conservator, guardian, depositor, or agent. Coordinates information between clients, external attorneys and internal specialists to ensure accurate, timely and efficient estate settlement. Administers accounts in a manner that ensures compliance with legal requirements and business line policies and procedures.

Successful incumbents possess effective communication skills, problem solving skills, appropriate functional and technical skills for core estate administration, the ability to multitask, meet service standards and are focused on the customer.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

Eight or more years of personal trust and/or estate planning experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

Advanced knowledge of estate settlement, gifting, income, estate and multi-generational taxation and trusts

Advanced knowledge of fiduciary services

Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to make critical decisions independently

Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills

Knowledge of Trust/Estate Settlement in California a plus

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $124,355.00 - $146,300.00 - $160,930.00
