Job Description

Negotiates, structures, underwrites, and closes Advanced Manufacturing Production Tax Credit (AMPTC) transfer transactions that will support the development of domestic renewable energy manufacturing across the country. Manages relationships with customers and internal AMPTC and Syndications Business Development Officers in negotiating terms of transfer transaction. Engages third party professionals (attorneys, accountants, etc.) in coordinating the drafting, collection, and review of documents and diligence necessary to close the transactions. Coordinates with portfolio managers and syndication project and fund managers in preparing and funding transfers. Participates in the establishment of policies and procedures necessary for accomplishing the group's tasks.

Basic Qualifications

Typically Bachelor's degree and eight or more years of related experience or MBA/JD with five or more years of directly related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

Thorough understanding of tax credit investment management and knowledge of regulatory and company risk policies

Knowledge of AMPTC or other renewable energy tax credits highly preferred

Strong knowledge of legal documentation and requirements and accounting

Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills

Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $139,230.00 - $163,800.00 - $180,180.00
