Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

$22.00/hour - START WORK Tuesday 04/22!

Job Description

The Manufacturing Technician will collaborate with other production team members in an assigned production area, aiming to meet production schedules while adhering to quality, cost, delivery, technical, and safety standards. This role involves multiple hands-on jobs essential to daily operations.

Responsibilities

Use hand and power tools, fixtures, and molds.

Perform repetitive work with small parts under a magnifying glass or microscope.

Handle delicate materials safely.

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Conduct mechanical assembly, potting, soldering, and product assembly according to technical documents.

Test products using specialized equipment such as electronic volt meters, helium leak test equipment, and digital X-ray systems.

Set up and program equipment such as laser beam welders.

Execute process procedures for cell manufacturing and assembly.

Operate specialized equipment such as winders, wrappers, filling systems, X-ray, stackers, welders, and activation systems.

Perform product quality self-inspections.

Maintain computer-generated documentation and record-keeping.

Demonstrate strong mechanical and electrical skills.

Work flexibly in both team and individual environments.

Adhere to safety protocols when working with chemical compounds.

Essential Skills

Basic computer and math skills.

Experience with hand and power tools.

Ability to work with small parts and delicate materials.

Familiarity with blueprints and technical drawings.

Mechanical assembly, potting, and soldering experience.

Product testing and equipment setup skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Excellent attendance and reliability.

Flexible and adaptable to change.

Good housekeeping practices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.

High School Diploma or GED.

Willingness to work overtime or alternate schedules as needed.

Ability to work in extremely dry environments while wearing clean-room gear.

Ability to lift 50 lbs safely.

Good hand dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Work Environment

The work environment is feedback-friendly, where open communication is encouraged. It is a low-volume facility with extended periods of standing and working in extremely dry conditions while wearing clean-room gear. Safety protocols are strictly followed, especially when handling delicate and hazardous materials. The position operates on the 1st Shift from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
