You'll work closely alongside the Controller to deliver precise financial reporting and contribute to the company's continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

-Accounts Payable Support: Serve as the go-between for the corporate accounts payable team to ensure efficient invoice processing and approval workflows.

-Cost Accounting: Prepare and maintain insightful cost reporting for managerial decision-making.

-Audit Assistance: Provide key documentation and clarity to support external and internal audit processes.

-ERP System Protocol: Investigate and resolve costing errors for enhanced system efficiency.

Month-End Closing: Assist with inventory transaction and receiving-related activities during monthly financial close-outs.

-Inventory Management: Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations to maintain inventory accuracy.

-Physical Inventory Oversight: Participate in physical inventory and cycle counts, identifying and addressing discrepancies.

-Inventory Optimization: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking while recommending improvements for production planning.

-Turnover Analysis: Analyze inventory turnover rates and deliver actionable insights for operational optimization.

-Receiving Duties: Ensure all delivered goods meet purchase order specifications and inspect deliveries for quality and accuracy.

What We're Looking For:

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

-At least 1 year of accounting experience; prior involvement in manufacturing is a bonus!

-Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate.

-Eagerness to learn, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Applicant must have a minimum of one year of detail oriented experience as a Staff Accountant

Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is a mandatory requirement for this role

Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is also essential for this position

A degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are vital

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask are important attributes for this role
