*This is a hybrid role that requires at least 3 days of onsite work per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays) and will be based at our Bible Way location in Reno, NV.

General Summary(What is done and why)
The Director of Marketing leads the organization in marketing, branding, and media strategy. The Director is the subject matter expert in the visual and verbal identity of United Federal Credit Union and how that translates into effective creative, copywriting, and delivery on a broad scale and within each unique market. The Director sets the marketing strategies and roadmaps for the organization's product marketing efforts and brand identity. The Director oversees all campaigns including promotions and line of business support. The Director has a deep understanding of the UFCU brand and markets and ensures all messages and creative executions are in-line with corporate identity and standards. The Director leads the Marketing team and manages the Marketing budget.
Essential Functions, in Priority Order(Majority of duties, but not meant to be all inclusive or prevent other duties from being assigned as necessary)
Effectively manages a team of marketing professionals to excellence. Time: 15%
Responsible for leading organization-wide and line of business-specific campaigns to support business goals and objectives. Develops a positive working relationship with key internal stakeholders including Regional Vice Presidents and has a deep understanding of business goals and objectives. Delivers campaigns that gain internal partner buy-in and drive results at the organizational level, branch level, and regional level and tactically for individual business lines (i.e. mortgage, retail, business banking and indirect lending). Manages campaign budgets, spend and effectiveness. Time: 25%
Defines the strategy, planning, implementation and tracking of organizational identity brand management and development. Responsible for overseeing the implementation of marketing campaigns and communications that support our brand across all regions and lines of business. Also responsible for ensuring all line of business and localized marketing efforts are brand consistent. Brand identity development management extends to all member touchpoints and channels include branch merchandising and online channels. Time: 25%
Defines the strategy, calendar, planning, implementation, analysis and optimization of marketing efforts that engage and convert new members to achieve organizational production goals. Deep knowledge of the customer journey and delivery of messaging and offers that drive interest. Utilize deep understanding of member and market data to deliver results. Constantly monitors efforts to analyze and optimize outcomes and conversion rates.Time 25%
Lead and/or participate on cross-functional teams. Time: 5%
Responsible for overseeing external vendors from creative agencies to production partners. Ensures top-quality creative, messaging and final product that meet stated objectives and brand standards. Time: 5%
Qualifications
Education(Minimum education required to perform the duties of this position)
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations or related field or two years of related work experience required. Master's degree in same or related field preferred.
Experience(Minimum experience required to perform the duties of this position)
In additionto the education requirement:
Five years of leadership experience in Marketing Management with either client or agency companies, or a combination of both.
Experience in credit union, banking or financial services marketing preferred.
Experience in brand identity development and management.
Experience in developing and improving digital marketing programs including website development, marketing automation, and social media.
Experience managing a high-performing team.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities(Minimum technical and communication skill levels and licenses/certificates normally required to perform the duties of this position)

Physical Demands(Physical effort generally associated with this position)
Work involves standing and walking for brief periods of time, but most work is done from a seated position. There is a potential for eyestrain from reading detailed reports/invoices and the computer screen. Deadlines, workloads and pressure to achieve goals may cause increased stress levels.
Working Conditions(Typical working conditions associated with this @type of work and environmental hazards, if any, that may be encountered in performing the duties of this position)
Internal- Work is normally performed in climate-controlled office environment, where exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is very limited. Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of normal office equipment (computers, telephone, etc.). No known environmental hazards are encountered in normal performance of duties. Length of day is unpredictable; long hours may be required to accommodate deadlines or special meetings.
External- Some travel to branches may be required; however, information on environmental conditions is not available.
