Area Outside Sales Representative

Adecco is currently recruiting for an Area Sales Representative assignment with a starting pay of $40k-45k annually + commission. The home office is located in Christiansburg, VA but the sales territory is Roanoke, VA. You will be responsible for new customer sales, renewing existing customers, and overall growth in an assigned market area. This role involves generating revenue through a consultative sales approach for waste management services, prospecting, and closing sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Implement marketing and sales strategies.

Respond to Broker and RFP requests.

Maintain community relations through civic and trade organizations.

Manage new customer prospects.

Report monthly sales results.

Conduct daily cold calls and territory management.

Prepare and deliver proposals.

Address customer retention activities.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of sales and account management experience.

Preferred experience in the Solid Waste Industry but not required.

Knowledge of sales strategy, market research, and customer retention.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment

Standard office setting.

Travel as required.

Pay Details: $19.23 to $21.60 per hour
