JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Ingleside Hotel and Springs Water Park in Pewaukee is hiring a Building Maintenance Tech: PT approx 24 hrs/week. Hours are generally 3-10pm, but can be flexible. Must have Sunday availability. As we are open 24/7, ability to work some weekends or other shifts is required. Ensure our facilities are in excellent condition using basic general maintenance skills. Snake drains, fix TV/remote issues, paint/touch up rooms, minor appliance repair, carpentry, snow removal, etc. CPO certified a plus. Great opportunity to grow for someone with interest/ability in building maintenance! Maintain the physical functionality of the hotel including guest rooms, public spaces, and work areas (sometimes working in awkward positions in small spaces). Respond to guest calls and team member work orders to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment. Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electric, and masonry. Inspect guest rooms, public spaces and work areas for needed and preventative maintenance or paint touch ups. Perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment in repair. Duties may involve pipe fitting; boiler making; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs. Certified Pool Operator helpful. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to reach above head for prolonged periods of time up to 8 hours per day.
