Job Site Located In Decatur Illinois

We are seeking 5 dedicated warehouse workers for first shift positions. You will operate our metal detector daily, manually palletizing and repalletizing bags weighing between 20-50 pounds. Your role will involve preparing loads, applying stickers to bags, shrink-wrapping pallets, and operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

Operate metal detector daily

Manually palletize and repalletize bags weighing 20-50 pounds

Prepare loads according to customer orders

Apply stickers to correct bags before palletizing

Shrink-wrap pallets

Operate forklifts in a warehouse setting

Essential Skills

Forklift operation

Packing

Inventory management

Order picking

RF scanner usage

Material handling

Loading and unloading

Labeling

Shipping and receiving

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)

Ability to verify product quality

Experience with reach trucks and RF scan guns

Physical ability to throw or stack bags up to 55 pounds

Work Environment

Our 500,000 square foot warehouse is semi-temperature controlled and stores finished products such as additives, food mixes, and ingredients. We offer a clean and well-lit facility with flexible shift options: First Shift (4 Days: 5:50 AM to 4 PM, M-Th or Tu-Fr; 5 Days: 7:30 AM to 4 PM, M-Fr) and Second Shift (4 Days: 4 PM to 2:30 AM, M-Th or Tu-Fr; 5 Days: 4 PM to 12:30 AM, M-Fr).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
