Sr. Accountant

Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our detail-oriented Services team located in Georgetown, Texas. The Sr. Accountant will play a crucial role in managing financial information through account research and analysis, preparation of financial statements, and contributing to team efforts to achieve the company's financial goals.

Responsibilities:

Analyze financial details and prepare reports to provide an accurate and timely overview of the company's financial status

Supervise the closing processes at the end of the month, quarter, and year, ensuring all financial data is accurate

Maintain the general ledger by regularly updating and reconciling accounts

Assist in the budgeting process by forecasting and analyzing variances

Adhere to GAAP and the company's internal policies when conducting all financial operations

Coordinate and assist external auditors during audits to ensure a smooth process

Provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level accounting staff to promote a collaborative work environment

Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP to perform duties effectively. Requirements

Must possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation

Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required

Expected to handle Bank Reconciliations effectively

Should have a solid understanding of General Ledger

Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries is essential

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must

Must have experience with Month End Close procedures

Knowledge and experience of using QuickBooks is preferred
