One of our clients is looking for a Sr. Accountant for a contract to permanent placement opportunity.

Responsibilities:

Accurate and efficient processing of account reconciliation

Management and reconciliation of balance sheets

Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy

Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date

Recording and managing journal entries as per accounting procedures

Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data management and financial analysis

Ensuring the month end close is completed in a timely and accurate manner

Applying cost accounting principles to financial data

Overseeing manufacturing cost accounting to ensure accurate costing of products.

Requirements

Applicant must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the accounting field.

Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential for this role.

Candidate should have demonstrable expertise in Balance Sheet Reconciliation.

Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations is a key requirement for this position.

The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of the General Ledger.

Ability to prepare and review Journal Entries is a must.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

The applicant should be experienced in managing Month End Close processes.

Experience in Cost Accounting is a crucial requirement for this role.

The candidate should have a clear understanding of Manufacturing Cost Accounting related to the Food & Food Processing industry.
