Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the person, TN. This role involves dual responsibilities in both accounting and payroll, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to multiple facets of our financial operations. This senior accountant must have experience within the manufacturing industry!

Responsibilities

Manage month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Monitor and report on daily metrics to track financial performance.

Oversee production spending reporting to ensure budget adherence.

Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.

Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely payments.

Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

Handle payroll processing with a preference for candidates experienced with ADP Lyric.

Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations and company policies.

Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues.

Essential Skills:

2 to 5 years of accounting experience.

Experience working in the manufacturing industry.

Proven experience in accounting and payroll functions.

Experience with payroll processing.

Familiarity with ADP Lyric is highly preferred.

Experience with invoice processing.

Experience with inventory from an accounting standpoint.

Experience with month-end and year-end close.

Strong Excel skills.

Experience with accounting software.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or relevant experience.

Work Environment

This is an in-office role attached to a manufacturing site.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.62 - $37.01/hr.
