Now Hiring 1st shift MIG Welder

Job Description

We are seeking skilled MIG Welders for both 1st and 2nd shifts. The primary responsibility will be welding on steel without the need for blueprints or specifications. This is a temporary position with the potential for overtime.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on steel materials.

Utilize a grinder as necessary.

Complete a weld test during the interview process.

Work on large production parts for industrial equipment.

Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines.

Essential Skills

MIG welding experience.

Experience welding on steel.

Ability to pass a weld test.

Capability to work a temporary job (4 weeks+).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with fabrication and production environments.

Ability to read and use a tape measure.

Familiarity with flux core welding is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a large factory located in an industrial park in Cedar Falls. The environment is clean and well-maintained given the factory's size. 1st shift hours are Monday to Thursday, 5am-3:30pm, and 2nd shift hours are Monday to Thursday, 3:30pm-2am. Overtime may be required.

This is a Contract position based out of Cedar Falls, Iowa.Now

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.50/hr.
