Description and Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Data Science Intern to join our engineering team. As a Data Science Intern, you will work closely with our data scientists and engineers to help drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities:

Conduct analysis of large data sets and provide insights to drive business decisions.

Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate key performance indicators.

Work with data engineers to design and maintain data pipelines and ensure data accuracy and completeness.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to optimize processes and improve performance.

Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies related to data analysis and visualization.

Minimum Requirements:

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Python and experience with data analysis libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-Learn is preferred

Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.

Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Requirements:

Prior internship or work experience in data science is a plus.

Experience with Google Analytics

Familiarity with Pendo.io

Experience with MongoDB

Experience working with Atlassian tool suite - BitBucket, Jira and Confluence
