What you'll do

CNC Machining: Efficiently operate a lathe, swiss lathe, wire EDM, 3-Axis mill, and/or 5-Axis mill to machine parts.

CNC Setup and Operation: Follow a setup sheet or look at a program on CAM and set up a job.

Evaluate a part and come up with a plan to effectively make it

Experience with HAAS, TRAK, or Heidenhain is a plus.

Inspecting your work and adjusting tool and machine offsets to make sure the parts are correct.

Cutting tool and toolpath knowledge: You may be given the opportunity to push the limits of current cutting tool technology.

What you need to thrive in this role

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Prior experience operating and setting up CNC Mills or Lathes (CNC lathe, 3-Axis mill, and/or 5-Axis mill).

CNC Programming experience preferred (BUT NOT NECESSARY).

Ability to read and understand blueprints including GD&T tolerancing with profile tolerancing preferred.

Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction.

Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.

Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, ability to anticipate, think ahead and plan.

Ability to work in a team, strong interpersonal skills, effective communication skills.
