Overview
The Manager of Supply Chain Transformation will lead strategic efforts to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and overall performance of the Supply Chain function. This role requires a driven leader able to engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure access to qualified suppliers throughout the company's Supply Chain. This position is responsible for supporting PPL's supplier engagement, and will represent PPL within their local community in support of efforts to network with potential suppliers and other stakeholders. The ability to network and collaborate internally and externally in multi-cultural environments is essential for success.
This position reports directly to the Director, Supply Chain Transformation.
This position can be based out of PPL's corporate office located in either Allentown, PA or Providence, RI

Responsibilities
Supplier Engagement - Develop and execute strategies to enhance supply base for all operating companies.
Regulatory Compliance - Ensure compliance with state, local and federal laws and regulations related to supply chain including required reporting. Responsible for training sourcing and procurement team members on requirements and developing monitoring to ensure compliance.
Relationship Building - Develop and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand what sourcing opportunities exist for the company, what suppliers may be qualified to provide those services, and how the company can support suppliers in local communities throughout PPL's service territories.
Change Management - Research, assess, recommend, and implement new industry best practices, taking into consideration benchmarking data from other utilities. Lead change management efforts for impacted stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of new processes, technologies, and practices.
Supply Chain Sustainability - Promote the development and enhancement of tracking and reporting mechanisms to further advance and support corporate sustainability goals.
Supplier Development - Develop and execute training programs for qualified suppliers to support their ability to provide goods and services throughout the PPL enterprise.
Cost Savings - Support the implementation of cost savings opportunities across the supply chain through process optimization, identification of strategic sourcing opportunities, and other initiatives.
Collaboration - Work closely with cross functional teams including Procurement, Logistics, IT, and Finance to ensure seamless integration and alignment of supply chain initiatives.
This position may be assigned a storm role that will require work outside of normal business hours.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience on a year-for-year basis required.
Minimum of five years' experience in Supply Chain Management, Supplier Diversity, Procurement or Utility Operations.
Physical presence in the office/on-site is required to engage in face-to-face interaction and coordination of work among co-workers as necessary
Possess both strong communications and Presentation skills (oral/written) and be able to effectively network with a variety of people at various levels within the company, supply base and business community.
Ability to analyze data to identify business trends and proactively source qualified suppliers.

Hybrid Schedule: Tuesday through Thursday in-office, with additional days in-office required subject to business need. Hybrid/in-office schedule is subject to change at any time at the discretion of the company and based on business need.
Travel: Must be willing to travel up to 20-30% of the time, including local travel and overnight travel throughout PPL's service territories.
Work hours: Standard business hours (M - F, 8am - 5pm); hours may occasionally vary due to business need, external engagements, events, etc.
