Sales Analyst Top Skills: Excel Outlook Communications Summary: The Sales Analyst, Best Buy/Target, is a critical contractor role with expectations covering a range of business areas including data aggregation, data analysis, launch preparations, supply chain review, and in-store execution. This person will be expected to be a key supporter in helping understand the market nationally and within Best Buy while providing analysis and guidance to help drive sales velocity and grow market share in the Monitor industry. The Sales Analyst needs to be comfortable working across many functions and in collaboration with different teams to help drive our goals and deliver on management's expectations. Local candidates are preferred. Responsibilities: Data Analysis Weekly sell-through trends Weekly/Monthly market share Best Buy report card review and action planning Promotional roadmap pricing Finance Price change system updates Price bulletin development and distribution Promo bulletin development and distribution PUMI submission for marketing programs Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates Supply Chain Basic analysis of inventory positions Ability to provide ideas to help move old inventory Competitive Analysis Deep understanding of competitors' products and corresponding pricing/promotional plans Ability to compare client monitors vs. competitors to identify areas of weakness Understand promotional activities at other major retailers (COSTCO, Walmart, Sam's Club) Event Planning Support Sr. Sales Manager on all Best Buy events Build key meeting PowerPoint presentations Meeting preparation for executive meetings internal and external Budget management Product sample requests Requirements: Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.)
