Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our
healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to
patients in various settings, including long-term care facilities,
clinics, and urgent care environments. This role requires a strong
understanding of patient care principles, anatomy, and physiology to
ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.
Duties
Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing,
and grooming.
Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and
respiration rates.
Provide support in medical-surgical settings by preparing patients for
procedures and assisting with post-operative care.
Maintain accurate medical records using Cerner or similar electronic health
record systems.
Collaborate with nursing staff to implement patient care plans effectively.
Ensure cleanliness and safety in patient areas by adhering to infection
control protocols.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans
and progress.
Qualifications
Previous experience in long-term care or urgent care settings is preferred.
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential for effective patient
assessment.
Familiarity with medical records management systems such as Cerner is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families.
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating
empathy and compassion.
Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a relevant training
program is required.

Pay: $18.75 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
