Customer Service Representative

Description We are looking for an organized and proactive Customer Service Representative to join our team in San Leandro, California. In this role, you will handle a variety of administrative and order management tasks while ensuring customers receive exceptional service. This is a contract-to-permanent position within the manufacturing industry, offering the opportunity to grow with the company.

Responsibilities:

Manage customer orders for finished goods, ensuring accurate processing and timely delivery.

Resolve order-related challenges by identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.

Coordinate with supply chain, manufacturing, and transportation teams to maintain order accuracy and streamline logistics.

Input customer information and order details into systems with precision, utilizing basic Excel functions such as pivot tables.

Recommend improvements to processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures, including documentation standards and timekeeping.

Prepare reports and track order statuses to provide updates to relevant stakeholders. Requirements - Previous experience in customer service or order management, preferably within a manufacturing or distribution environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including familiarity with functions like pivot tables.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various teams and interact with customers.

Knowledge of accounts payable (AP) processes is a plus.
