Description

We are offering employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of accounting and financial support tasks, with a focus on accounts receivable and payable.

Responsibilities:

Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

Ensure the maintenance of up-to-date customer credit records

Resolve any customer inquiries efficiently and professionally

Monitor customer accounts and take the necessary action when needed

Review, prepare and process invoices and related documentation for accounts payable

Maintain and reconcile various subsidiary ledgers, generating entries for the general ledger as required

Prepare and reconcile month-end reports to align with the general ledger

Enter and retrieve data, generating reports following established formats

Conduct research and assemble information from various sources for the completion of forms or preparation of reports

Handle cashiering functions for the organization, accepting payments, fees, and deposits for services and licenses

Prepare receivables receipts, balance daily cash receipts, print reports for audit trail, and make bank deposits

Perform general office support tasks as needed, operating standard office equipment

Maintain and process a variety of accounting-related forms, researching, and compiling information from such files.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience.

Proficiency in account reconciliation and managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).

Demonstrated ability in billing and invoice processing.

Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial data management and reporting.

Experience with financial software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

Strong numerical skills and ability to handle a high volume of financial data.

Ability to comply with organizational policies, procedures, and systems.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Bilingual Spanish Preferred.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal supervision.
