Controller - Manufacturing Industry

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee inventory management and conduct margin analysis to maintain accurate financial records and maximize profitability

Utilize Oracle for financial operations and ensure the integrity of financial data

Develop and maintain strong communication and relationship-building skills with other departments to support seamless cross-functional collaboration

Lead, mentor, and train a team of three staff accountants, focusing on financial reporting and ensuring they are equipped to manage tasks independently

Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to management to support informed business decisions

Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies

Manage the preparation of financial statements, oversee month-end and year-end close processes, conduct financial analysis and forecasting, and manage budgeting processes

Coordinate and manage internal and external audits to ensure compliance and accuracy

Required Skills:

Proven experience in inventory management and margin analysis

Proficiency in Oracle

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Strong leadership and mentoring abilities

Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and management

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Significant experience in the manufacturing industry

Work Environment:

This person will be needed on-site to be a part of a collaborative work environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
