Certified Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing payroll processes and handling accounts receivable tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Management:

Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Utilize the LCP Tracker and DIR for reporting of certified payroll employees.

Maintain payroll records and prepare reports as needed.

Handle payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.

Ensure timely submission of payroll taxes and other deductions.

Accounts Receivable:

Generate and send out invoices to clients.

Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue accounts.

Record payments and update customer accounts.

Assist with job costing and billing to customers.

Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience with certified payroll

Experience with LCP tracker and DIR reporting

Experience with accounts receivable, contract billing, and collections

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
