Here's how an Electrical Quality Manager for PCL Industrial Services, Inc. contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

Review prime contract and subcontract details for specifications and requirements.

Ensure quality activities align with project scope as defined in contract terms and conditions.

Ensure that inspections, monitoring, and documentation occur in accordance with project inspection and testing plans (ITPs).

Develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific quality plan.

Review work procedures and instructions for quality compliance.

Support QA/QC planning activities for project execution.

Liaise with client QA/QC reps, third-party testing agencies, and subcontractor quality personnel.

Verify that suppliers and vendors meet project specifications; oversee audits and ensure compliance with quality manual and contract documents.

Provide regular feedback to project and district management.

Collaborate with operations teams to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Assist with delivery of quality training across the district as required.

Track quality program effectiveness and recommend improvements.

Promote continuous improvement and adoption of current industry practices and innovations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

Relevant U.S.-based QA/QC certifications such as ICC, NACE CIP Level II, or API 510/570/653 preferred.

Working knowledge of U.S. electrical codes and standards including NEC, NFPA, IEEE, NETA, and OSHA.

Strong understanding of industrial construction specifications, drawings, methods, and procedures.

Demonstrated leadership and mentorship experience for quality inspection teams across multiple scopes.

Proven ability to identify quality risks and monitor project progress for timely inspections and compliance.

Experience developing and implementing site quality plans and quality documentation.

Strong ability to interpret electrical plans and specifications.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with quality management systems.
