Key Job Responsibilities:
Lead and execute Operational Excellence (OpEx) intiatives, applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continous improvement.
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize labor efficiency, cost savings and quality control.
Facilitates Continuous Improvement Council to assess and validate the effectiveness of Kaizen initiatives, problem solving countermeasures (A1's), and daily management practices, ensuring alignment with and progress toward burning platform targets.
Serve as a catalyst for change by leveraging onsite observations and data to provide guidance to leaders and teams on issues affecting Safety, Quality, Productivity, Delivery, Inventory and Cost (SQPDIC) objectives.
Partner with staff to create and execute annual Continuous Improvement plan detailing milestones and tasks, that will be included in leadership P+ goals, to drive Lexington to become a Prysmian "lighthouse" site
Drive standarization through digital process tools and automation to improve efficiency.
Train and mentor teams on Continuous Improvement methodologies, including CI Coach, CI Practitioner, and CI Leadership programs.
Creates a Continuous Improvement culture based on the Operational Excellence Assessment stages and Hoshin Kanri objectives.
Utilize PDCA, DMAIC, and KPI tracking to measure and improve performance outcomes.
Analyze workload data and identify constraints, uitlizing continious improvement tools to implement solutions.
Conduct Gemba walks, Kaizens and Kaizen Blitzes to identify root causes and implement sustainable improvements.
Partner with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement and enhance operational performance.
Manage a team of service operators to bridge supply chain and production gaps.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
Five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
Three (3) years' experience in continuous improvement. Lean manufacturing and/ or Six Sigma methodologies.
Project management experience with a proven track record of meeting timelines or proactively adjusting to achieve planned goals.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to influence change.
Demonstrated ability lead cross functional teams and drive operational improvements.
