Accounting Analyst

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain accurate and up-to-date Financial records for the US operations of Zelis Inc.

Prepare and analyze Financial statements and reports for Management.

Reconcile Accounts and ensure the accuracy of Financial data.

Assist with Budgeting and Forecasting processes.

Periodic Bank reconciliations and other General Ledger reconciliations.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate Financial reporting and analysis.

Participate in process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to streamline accounting procedures.

Provide support for internal and external audits.

Ensure timely and accurate closure of the Month-end process.

Support with the acquire to retire, order to cash, procure to pay, and record to report processes.

EDUCATION AND professional experience:

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

CPA certification or equivalent preferred

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Accounting field

Knowledge of US GAAP and tax regulations

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of sophisticated ERP environments

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Prior experience working in a Shared Services Center preferred

Demonstrate a strong work ethic.

Work environment:

Expectation to work primarily in the Zelis-India office on a regular basis

Willingness to work outside of normal business hours as required to collaborate with teams outside of India
