Position Summary:

This position will be focused on drafting and finalizing work instructions for the CORE value stream and the site as a whole. The Operations Intern will be closely tied to production training priorities. They will accurately capture the steps required to complete integral process steps and document in a concise format. Additionally, this position would be responsible for executing operations project(s) in order to facilitate efficient and quality production.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Safety

Prioritize safety of team at all times

Identify and lead safety improvement projects throughout facility

Document work instructions:

Finalize work instructions that have been drafted

Update out of date work instructions to reflect current processes

Shadow production team members to create work instructions for processes that do not currently exist

Project

Develop timeline

Determine and acquire materials and tools

Collaborate with engineering on requirements and developing proof of concept

Execute solution

Present solution to management and key stakeholders

Timeline:

This position will be needed for at least 12 weeks from the start date

Mon-Fri

8am - 4pm

Credentials and Experience:

Working towards and Associate or Bachelors degree in STEM or related field

Self-motivator

Strong written and oral communication skills

Technical writing experience preferred

Mechanical engineering experience preferred

Experience using Microsoft Excel and Teams

Familiar with clean room and ESD safe environments constraints

Requirements:

Reporting and Location:

This position is based in Longmont, Colorado and reports to the Operations Manager.

Total Rewards

The compensation range for this position is $35,800.00 - $53,600.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
