Outside Sales Representative

Make a difference.

In this role you will:

Sell company products or services in assigned area or territory.

Create new accounts.

Speak directly with new and existing customers or clients to explain features and merits of products or services offered.

Demonstrate products or services and provide assistance in the best application of products or services.

Answer all questions concerning a product or service, with appropriate referrals where required.

Close transactions and take orders.

Submit time and expense reports to management.

Investigate product/service warranty claims to ensure resolution within organization policies.

Analyze and interpret records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred for management.

Contact prospects and explains features and merits of products or services offered, utilizing persuasive sales techniques.

Calculate and quote prices.

May coordinate company technical engineering support and services to ascertain customers' needs.

What you bring to the table:

Industry experience preferred

High school diploma or GED

Knowledge of wholesale distribution industry and supply chain management principles

Oral and written communication skills

Negotiation and problem solving skills

Ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers to achieve short and long-term goals of the branch

Ability to think strategically about business needs

Ability to effectively communicate across multiple internal and external layers of the organization

Organizational and time management skills

Work Shift and Hours : Monday - Friday, standard business hours

Compensation Details: The expected base salary for this position is starting at $60,000 annually depending on experience.
